In the early stages of my career I worked in the restaurant industry. In order to deliver outstanding service, restaurants need to hire hospitality professionals who genuinely enjoy making others happy. With over 25 years of experience in a variety of industries – hospitality, non-profit, commercial real estate, public utility, publishing, dotcoms, I enjoy helping all types of businesses meet their staffing needs. My past experiences have led me to become a generalist and I am equipped to recruit for various positions across diverse organizations.
When I start a client engagement, I spend time learning about the company culture, company history, current staffing challenges and establish recruitment goals. I explore the company values and the types of individuals who thrive in that environment.
I focus on bolstering my network for the specific business I am recruiting for and customize my recruitment strategy according to each client’s unique organization and the positions we are looking to fill. This thoughtful approach is valuable and helps me generate an extensive pool of future candidates to draw from.
My interview process is comprehensive. I integrate aspects of Topgrading, a hiring and interviewing methodology that is intended to identify preferred candidates for a particular position. I work with the clients’ needs and resources and am happy to provide as much support as needed.
